Called to Care: Our Real Life Journey

This isn’t a story we would have chosen but it’s one God is still writing.
My husband, Dennis, has been walking through a serious liver disease diagnosis, and our lives have been forever changed. What began as a medical emergency has become a daily journey of caregiving, uncertainty, and learning to trust God in ways we never had to before.

There are days that feel heavy. Days where the unknown is loud.But even here, we have seen God show up.
In the quiet strength.In the provision we didn’t expect.In the people He’s placed around us at just the right time.

This season is actually what led me to write my newest book, Called to Care. It wasn’t written from a place of having all the answers but from living it in real time. From the stretching, the surrendering, and the moments where faith becomes more than words, it becomes survival.

Many of you have been walking alongside us already—through prayers, messages, and quiet support. Some of you have asked how you can help, and this page is simply a response to that.
